    Exclamation

Is it possible to run a JRSC with 310cc injectors, Cartech FMU and Apexi VAFC without the relay trick?

What are the pros and cons when doing this.

To my knowledge, the only way to eliminate the JR IAT trick (whether it's using the relay or MAP mod) is with a stand alone fuel system. Remember, the VAFC is a piggyback unit and works in conjunction with your ECU - it does not replace its function. The VAFC modifies your fuel maps slightly, but I don't believe it allows your ECU to interpret boost readings from the MAP sensor. But seriously, you're making a built motor, you should go all the way and have custom stand alone fuel management.

oh, I?m not asking for me.

Okay, I can get rid of the relay trick, when I mount the map sensor somewhere on the intake manifold so that it can see boost.

    Question

Which "relay trick", JR's IAT version, or my TPS version?

The JR IAT fuel trick can be eliminated... but you must compensate for the additional heat... which means that more fuel under boost will be required. Also, some applications will in fact RETARD timing once the intake air temps begin to climb... so you may in fact lose a few ponies due to the removal of a few degrees of advance.
